Nisseem India Private Limited ("Nisseem", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who interacts with our website, project portal and CRM. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law.

1. Who we are

Nisseem India Private Limited, an EPC company for commercial compressed bio-gas (Bio-CNG) plants, operating in India. For any privacy matter, contact us at hello@nisseem.com.

2. Data we collect

Contact & enquiry data — name, email, phone and message when you contact us or request a feasibility review.
Client & project data (portal users) — account name, email, and project, document, agreement, financial and payment records you or your project manager enter.
Identity & tax data where required for a project or statutory compliance — such as GSTIN, PAN and authorised-signatory details.
Technical data — IP address and basic access logs used for security and audit.

3. Why we use it (purpose)

To respond to enquiries and provide EPC and consulting services.
To operate the client portal — projects, reports, agreements, invoices and payments.
To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations (GST, TDS, statutory approvals).
To secure our systems and maintain an audit trail of account activity.

4. Legal basis & consent

We process personal data with your consent and/or as necessary to perform a contract or comply with law. Portal accounts are created for identified business users; by using the portal you consent to the processing described here.

5. How we store & protect it

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure hosted in India (Google Cloud, Mumbai region). We apply access controls (role-based logins), encryption in transit (HTTPS), audit logging and regular backups. Access to client documents is restricted to authorised staff and the client concerned.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary — with government authorities for statutory approvals, with professional consultants engaged on your project, or where required by law. Any such sharing is limited to what is necessary for the purpose.

7. Retention

We keep personal and project data for as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal, tax and contractual retention requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

You have the right to access, correct and update your data, to request erasure where applicable, to withdraw consent, and to raise a grievance. To exercise any right, email hello@nisseem.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Grievance officer

For any complaint about how your data is handled, contact our grievance point of contact at hello@nisseem.com. We will acknowledge and address grievances in accordance with the DPDP Act.

10. Cookies

The portal uses a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in securely. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be available on this page.
